Real Chromium rendering

Headless Chromium via Playwright, on a dedicated worker thread with a concurrency cap. Screenshots are real pixel renders; PDFs are print-ready A4 with backgrounds.

Full-page capture + viewports

Full-page screenshots on every plan, viewport width from 1 to 3840px. Device emulation presets are on the roadmap.

SHA-256 param cache

Identical URL + params hit the file cache — no quota consumed, instant response. One cache TTL for every plan today: 7 days. Per-plan TTL is on the roadmap.

Persistent quota

Monthly per-tenant counters survive restarts (atomic JSON persistence). Quota exhausted returns a clear 402 receipt — never a surprise bill.

SSRF guard

Targets resolving to private, loopback, or link-local addresses are rejected by default. Your API can't be turned into a port scanner.

HMAC-signed webhooks

Every completed render can POST a signed payload (X-FrameShot-Signature) to your callback — bytes count and SHA-256 included for verification.

Honest scope: this page describes what the v1 product does today. Roadmap items are labeled as roadmap — we don't sell features that don't exist yet.
